Our Early Christmas Present

Well it's that time of the year again.Brayden is really excited about Christmas this year.He just loves the lights on all the houses and of course hearing about Santa.Corey and I are very excited as well.We got our Christmas gift a little early this year.We are expecting a new bundle of joy in July.We went to the doctor this past week and we saw the heartbeat and everything looks great.We are praying for a happy and healthy baby.Brayden is also very excited and wants a baby sister.Well we just wanted to share our wonderful news with everyone, and please pray that my pregnancy goes smoothly and that we have a healthy baby in 2010.We are definitely looking forward to the new year.

Getting Ready for Halloween

Well we are almost ready for Halloween.Most of you know that this is mine and Corey's favorite Holiday!We usually dress up every year and go out,but this year we have decided to let Aunt Kim take the little man that weekend and have a baby free tailgate instead.Don't worry we will still be doing plenty of fun Halloween actives before he leaves.First we are going to the pumpkin patch on Friday with his class at school.Then we are having some of his friends over on Sunday to carve pumpkins and snack on some spooky treats.On Wednesday our neighborhod is trick-or-treating and then we will also trick-or-treat on Thursday night.So I have a lot to post about in the next week or so.But for now here are a few pics of the house.We also have a skeleton and hay bails in our yard but my camera died tonight.

Auburn PD Update

Well they got the guy on our video.The kids mother turned him in.He had nothing to do with the murders.Apparently he had sneaked out of his house to see his girlfriend who lives in our neighborhood.I guess that is a god lesson not to leave your house because you might turnout to be a "Person of Interest" in a murder case.LOL well it definitely makes us feel better that he didn't have anything to do with the murders.

Auburn PD

So my good Friend Emily called me this morning with lovely news.There was a double murder in Auburn not far from our house.We have a camera system in our home and we caught a man in our backyard on the camera the same day the murders happened.Well we turned it into police weeks ago and this was released last night.We were not even contacted about the video being released.I thought a lot more of our police until this.Thanks for the warning.

New Hair

So I decided to get all my hair cut off.It was time to say goodbye to my way to long hair.I love having long hair but it was time for a change.So what do women do when they need a change they cut their hair.LOL Corey loves it and so do I.Here is a before and after pic.

Caged In!

Well our fence is finally up.It couldn't have came a moment sooner.we have had some strange things going on around our neighborhood lately.So I am glad it is up.I told Corey last night that I love our fence but that I did feel like we are caged in now.LOL I guess we kind of are.Molly loves getting to go out whenever she wants to now and Brayden loves his new fence.We will be staining it soon to match the stain our neighbors put on theirs.

Brayden's 3rd Birthday

I can not believe my baby is 3!I think I will always think of him as a new born baby in my arms.He had a great Birthday.We got him a power wheel Ford F150 with the help of my Mom and Dad and Brayden loves it.We had his party at Monkey Park and though there was a little drama(with people stealing our Gazebo we had rented)it was a great celebration.Here are a few pics from this weekend.

4th of July

Hello All

I hope everyone had a great 4th like we did.This was our 2nd annual 4th of July Party and we had a blast!The kids kept cool playing in two pools.It was also a sad time because this was The Edwards last official party and we wish them luck and safe travels to their new home in Oklahoma.Things have been super busy around here with moving into the new house and work that has changed dramatically.So bare with me and I promise I will still post pics.Brayden turns 3 in two weeks and his party is next weekend.So I will update again after that.

We have moved into our new home and we love it here.We are so happy and Brayden loves his new house.Corey had to get himself a new toy and Brayden loves to ride with Mommy and Daddy!

Easter 2009

Well this has been a world wind weekend.We celebrated Easter,it was my Birthday, and my parents got to see our new home.I was so glad to spend time with my family.I hate that we don't see each other as often as we should,so I cherish my time with them.I got an awesome new camera for my Birthday and I was so glad I got to use it for Easter pictures.We move into our new home in 12 days on April 24th.I mean what more could a girl want for her birthday a new camera and a new house.I am so lucky and very thankful.This will probably be my last post until we are in the new house.We have to finish all the packing and with an active two year old it gets tough at times.Here are some pics from the Easter weekend and I will write again when we are in the new home.

Possible New Home

Well we have been looking for awhile for a good home and in this market it is the perfect time to buy.Well finally I have found one that I could call home.We are going to look at it again on Tuesday and I hope that we can put an offer on it.Keep us in your prayers because this is such a huge decision for Corey and I.I will let everyone know how Tuesday goes but here is a pic of the outside of the home.

So two weeks ago we had snow and now we have 80 degree weather.You have to love crazy Alabama weather.We had a great weekend playing in the backyard and grilled out.I love this time of year when you don't have that lovely humidity yet.Brayden loves being outside and discovering new bugs.I don't like that part so much but I guess that comes with having a little boy.Oh yeah and I love when he does this.So Gross!

Thomas the Train & Po Po

Corey's dad(Po Po) Came to visit us at the end of February.We all love when he comes to visit.We cherish our time with him,He lives in New York so we don't see him as often as we would like.He brought Brayden a real Thomas the train set.Brayden loves it.He kept telling daddy "faster daddy faster." Thank you Po Po for the wonderful gift.

Snow Day 2009

Well we woke up to a blanket of snow today.I think it is so funny how I never saw snow here while I was in college,But we have had snow for the past two years.Brayden had so much fun in it.We threw snow balls and attempted to make a snow angel.He didn't like the snow very much last year so I was glad he enjoyed this time.

Uncle Mikey

As most o you know Michael is a familiar face in our home.Brayden has grown so close to him and loves it when he comes over.They have such a good time playing together.I figured it was post worthy.

Potty Training So Far....

So we are doing good on the Potty Training.He hasn't actually used the potty but he is sitting on it every hour.He gets rewards for that and he knows that if he actually uses it he gets to get into the Prize Bag.I am proud of my little man so far.He wouldn't even sit on the potty a week ago.Well hopefully I will be blogging soon that he actually used the potty.Wish us luck!
